      Peggotty, David's, nurse in his childhood, continued to live with David and Agnes, taking care of their children. Traddles became a famous judge and was the owner of a large house. Dr. Strong enjoyed a happy domestic life and still labored on his dictionary. Sometimes David met Mrs. Steerforth. She became an old lady now, who supported herself with a stick. Rosa Dartle who had turned dark and withered at times loved her and at times quarreled with her. Julia Mills had returned from India and was married to a growling old Scotsman. David and Agnes, Traddles, and Sophy lived happily along with their friends and families.
