      Sir Philip Sidney he is one of the most renowned figures in the history of Elizabethan Sonnet writing. His Sonnet series astrophel and Stella registers a great advancement in English Sonnet. Astrophel and Stella is possibly written between 1580 and 1584 and published 1591.
