Summary
Like Mrs. Moore and Miss Adela Quested, Fielding too left for England. On the way, he stopped over for a few days in Egypt, Crete and Venice. He was charmed by the beauty of Europe. Such beauty he had not come across in India. He wrote post-cards to his friends in India knowing well that this beauty could not be conveyed through letters. This new civilization was free from muddle. Going towards the north, he had seen beautiful flowers. Romantic fancies crowded his mind.
Critical Analysis
Fielding too had to leave India, though only temporarily. The countries he visited was very different from India. He felt greatly relieved.
